INTRODUCTION
A good example of what I’m preparing to write today would be the incident that just happened with a “Ring Camera”. The parents of a little girl had installed a “Ring Camera” with audio capabilities inside their daughter’s bedroom. Some nasty creeper hacked into the system and began to spy on the child, and simultaneously speak to her. Most disturbing to say the least. Since it just happened, I’m sure that you can find more information online if you’re interested.
Slow Down The World
I’ll begin with this. Please don’t misunderstand me or my words, I’m not special. If anything, up until just a few years ago, I had spent all of my life battling with incredible insecurities, and social anxiety. I ended that chapter and started an entirely new book.
I live my life with an overwhelming sense of Empathy, Feeling, and Connection To My Environment. That together with [keeping it simple] a Discerning Ability, I spend my days Seeing The World.
We are all different. From our faces to the choices that we make, we are all as different as our fingerprints. Another difference between us: Our human senses.
Quite possibly numbering as many as 21, I believe The Human Senses to vary vastly between each individual. Please keep in mind that I’m not making this number up as I go, the theory is out there. That being said, I’m not one to validate something that I can’t validate.
What I’m saying is this. I’m well aware of my own senses and capabilities. In addition, within my own network of people, places, and things; I know of several people that…. Well, they are far from average. Unfortunately, with great diversity, comes a great struggle. The World Is A Serial Killer! [Please see Damages Part 2].
Here’s what I’m getting at, and I’m confident of the fact that I’m only one of the millions that can see my point. But, in my efforts to make a simple point, I have a tendency to ramble on paragraph after paragraph. So here it is.
Our world seems to be circling the drain. We’ve connected everyone and everything, and unless we take a step back and access our situation: We are fucked!
Okay, I’ve said my piece. Quite possibly a little dramatic, but hey, it’s my love of words.
Note: I have high hopes for the individual(s) who tormented the child. Those hopes include a long prison sentence, and the rest of the punishment that fits the crime. In the interest of a PG Rating, I’ll leave the rest up to the imagination. 😉
