The summer of 2014 seems like a dream to me now. It was the last summer I would spend with my second wife. The following March/April, I moved out of our home.

So many terrible things happened that summer. Sprinkled throughout the madness, a handful of memorable moments come back to me from time to time. One evening, my wife and I might be sitting outside, downloading music together, and the next, I have to put up cameras to find out who’s been in my house while I’m away.

I remember one particular night; it was late, probably at least 3:00 AM. I was sitting on the front porch looking at the night sky. The porch faced south, and I was looking at the full moon when something caught my eye. Just to the moon’s 7 or 8 o’clock, I spotted a bright light. This light was larger than any planet or anything I’d ever seen in the night sky.

It was stationary, and I watched it for about 10 to 20 seconds. Quite suddenly, this light began to move at a slow but steady pace in a straight line. This continued for another 10 to 20 seconds, and then it happened. The damn light shot out of the sky in less than one second. I didn’t think anything could move that fast. If was just like a movie where a spaceship goes to flipping light speed. It shot straight up and out of sight. Just like that, it was gone.

I spent the remainder of that summer watching the sky. I had three or four more similar experiences after that. M wife was with me the rest of them. She didn’t known what the heck to think. I remember saying, “See, I told you so.”

I don’t know what I saw that summer. Identified and flying for sure, but I can’t validate space ship. I can’t imagine that what I saw was anything besides an intelligently controlled craft of some kind. That much I can confirm. Nothing can move like that unless it’s being controlled by someone or something.
