Have you ever woke up in the middle of the night, inspected the clock, validated you have several hours before the alarm will wail, and then cried out, “woo-hoo or yesssssssssssss?” Okay, something along those lines anyway.
For myself, it’s always felt like a prize, knowing I can allow my mind to slip back into dreamland without the anxiety of anticipating the alarm to pop off at any moment! I find it disheartening to close my eyes while the clock is ticking down the last minutes. At the age of 53, I still occasionally find myself thinking, “I don’t want to go to school today.”
Fortunately, I love my morning wake-up process. I’ve written about the subject several times. Within 30 minutes of opening my eyes, the wheels are turning. And . . . well . . . here we are. I wish you all a fantastic day!
