Following years of pushback against switching over, I’ve finally taken the plunge! I have officially purchased and begun using an iPhone. Well, not merely an iPhone, but an iPhone 12 Max Pro. I must admit, my new cellphone is beautiful.

And, what did it take to convince me to switch! A woman, of course. My Wife, to be specific. Isn’t that how it always works for men? Isn’t that how the Universe designed us?

For some time, I’ve been the only member of the family using an Android Phone. The effect upon the family group chat has been incredibly frustrating for everyone. It’s difficult to explain, but I guarantee it matters. Apparently, my children have promoted me from the position of [peasant] to something greater. Or, as my loving Daughter explained, “Dad’s no longer a pheasant!” Yes, I said pheasant, not peasant.

I’ve been struggling to write during the transition from pheasant to . . . hmmmmmmm . . . I guess I should ask about my new title. Either way, I’m reapplying myself to my blog once more.

No longer a pheasant,
