I posted this on March 6th, 2020. Precisely, one year ago. Even the picture is from last March. My first reaction to Covid-19 was; bring it pussy virus! Much has changed since then, and I can no longer afford to be as reckless. It’s not that I’ve changed my position; I still believe my immune system can take the virus. That said, with my family back in my life, I must protect those I love. Several have pre-existing conditions.
This time last year, I wasn’t spending any time with friends and family. My life consisted of work, writing, and the basic necessities. My job kept me outside and socially distanced. Besides wearing a mask, I didn’t need to make any changes. Having spent 20 years in Food & Beverage, hand washing is second nature.

I’m not scared of this virus. I plan on catching it immediately, beating the shit out of it, recovering quickly, and then business as usual! Besides staying home while the virus runs its course, I won’t hide or take precautions of any kind. I will not submit to fear and control.
