Without question, the Global Pandemic has brought pain and suffering to millions of people around the world. I would never attempt to minimize or dismiss what others have experienced. Furthermore, I do not want to come across as [rubbing salt in the wounds of the injured].
That said, I believe we should all stop, sharpen our senses, and take a look around. Light and darkness work together, and one will always follow the other. Quite often, great things will be hidden by pain and tragedy. I’m confident that I’m not the only one who’s been blessed this past year.
I’ll say it again, “covid-19 can go and fuck itself.” That may sound strange, telling a virus to screw off or eat a sack of dicks, but that’s how I feel. I do not subscribe to fear or control. Also, I don’t know what it’s like to quarantine or lock myself within my home. I’ve spent the past 13 months working 40 to 60 hours per week, never slowing or stopping for even a moment.
For those who have been following my story, you may know I reconnected with my Wife and Kids six months ago. Following more than ten years of painful separation, my family and I are whole once more. The story behind this achievement is one of love, faith, grace, and forgiveness. The story behind the story is one of pain, darkness, and incredible struggle. I’m forever changed.
