I’ve spent the past week camping with my family in Texas. I’d planned on doing some writing between activities, but the outing got the best of me. We constructed a small tent city to house seven people and four dogs. The trip was fantastic! That said, I’ve missed writing terribly.

I did notice your absence but the camping adventure is the best possible reason for it. We used to camp with our kids when they were younger. It was a lot of fun!

We had some rain, but it didn’t compare to the June Bugs the first night. I’d forgotten how bad they can be when a few lanterns are left on after dark. 😊
