Pictured: Working in 2020

By the end of 2020, a large percentage of the world just wanted the year to end. Well, the year, but not the world as we know it. Apocalypse seemed to be lurking around every corner. Death was everywhere.

Covid, Racial Tension, Riots, Attacks On Police, Political Battles, and an Endless Sea of Social Media Madness; the world had turned upside down. Hmmmmmmm . . . Actually . . . If you knew what to look for. It was already upside down. Down is up, and up is down.

I didn’t stop working or take any time off during the shutdown. I was still living in Denver with my roommate. Each morning, we’d leave the house and drive downtown. The streets resembled something from a zombie movie. Besides an occasional jogger or dog walker, our work crew owned East 17th Avenue of Downtown Denver. When I did see someone, We’d yell, “go home!” Have you ever seen someone jogging while wearing a mask?

Where are we now?
