When I launched this website three years ago, my early writings were emotional rantings, free of unnecessary roadblocks such as editing and the use of acceptable grammar. I remember an early comment referring to my ability to compress multiple paragraphs into one great paragraph. Or was it one giant run-on sentence? Now I can’t remember. Either way, those pieces have been taken down for a long time now.
Using my blog as a way to unload a few painful memories continued as I worked tirelessly to finish my first novel. Eighteen months and nearly 200K words later, my book was ready for editing. I then changed my mind and decided to polish my creation into a . . . well . . . something polished. I’d planned on using this website to promote my novel, but of course, to do that, I would need a published novel. On the bright side, the longer I work on my book, the more I work on my book.
Over the past six months, I’ve been trying to decide where to take this blog? I’m positive that I don’t want to stop posting. I’m toying with the idea of removing the boundaries I previously thought best; rules such as staying away from politics and some of the world’s darker and more uncomfortable issues.
Question: Can I see the path before me?
