In 2016, a 2-year-old boy was taken by an alligator at the Grand Floridian Hotel in Disney World. Sadly, the authorities didn’t recover the body. Instead, an alligator witch-hunt followed, resulting in the hunting and killing of approximately 300 alligators. There is a small fence now preventing children from entering the water and being dragged away.

Unfortunately, whether it’s alligators or propane gas, it seems someone always has to die for change. After the dust settles and the bodies are cleaned up, only then are the appropriate safety measures established.
